Cool cloud formations I noticed a few days ago

Now this is quite a story... I was home sick, and at about 8am I decided to check on Stormy, so I went out to the living room and saw a huge red squirrel on the deck. She of course was huddled by the door, crouched and hiding as low as she could get. I watched as the squirrel explored the deck, gradually circling around the feeder to make sure it's safe. When he seemed about ready to eat, he walked right up to the glass door where Stormy was, and stopped. He got up on his hind feet, and looked at her right in the eye through the glass. She was so tense and excited she CRIED, it was the most pitiful sound I think she's ever made... and then she flattened her ears down even further. The squirrel got down, walked over to the feeder, and started eating. At that point, I went and got a camera to take pics of him, and her.

As you can see, he completely ignored her (and me) from then on. Didn't even aknowledge our presence. This little squirrel (well, not so little, really) had seen Stormy, aknowledged that she was a hunter, realized she couldn't get to him, and stared her down anyway... and then gone about his day like usual.

Oh, and no, he didn't make that mess of my feeder, that was the rain. The good news is, none of the seed got washed off my deck, and when it dries out as it does every once in a while, the birds still love it. Hooray for cheap feeders tho =\
